Single Origin Roasters

This morning my friend Daniel took me to Single Origin Roasters. It’s close to Central train station. I had an espresso, like I normally do. It was nice a smooth. And we split banana bread. It was grilled. This made the outside texture really nice and crisp!  It was one of my favorites so far. It was a really rustic, organic setting. The menu’s had descriptions explaining how they made the coffees through diagrams and words. Something that I have never seen before was Siphon Style.
Quote: “A siphon maker brews coffee using two chambers where
vapor pressure and vacuum, produce coffee, which is clean crisp,
rich and smooth. Loeff of Berlin invented syphon technique in the 1830s.”Another hot spot! Check out their website (http://www.singleorigin.com.au/)

QVBar Cafe

Today I visited QVBar Café. Located in the QVB, Queen Victoria Building, I was surrounded by the rush of downtown Sydney. And, at the same time, stilled as a sipped my espresso. The refined warm tones and antique architecture calmed me. One of my favorite things about this location is the warm atmosphere.  But at the same time you’re sitting in the center of so much.
Such a beautiful building.

A Success! Hazelnut Meringue

These are a few of my favorite things... espresso.

Top: Cappuccino (Courtney) and Bottom: Mocha (Melony)

Overview Shot. Once again, beautiful architecture.

Come with Me.

Growing up the smell of coffee was always on. The first thing you would smell in the morning. Coffee. The first thing that hit your nose as you walked in the door from school. Coffee.  And yes, after dinner. More Coffee. So naturally I acquired a taste for it. We like it strong. Go hard or go home.  My grandfather calls it cowboy coffee. My life without would be half as productive.
I moved to Sydney in January. And surprisingly Aussie’s are addicted, just like me. There are amazing café’s in Sydney. So why not share the love.  Come with me as I explore the best of the best. The crema of what Sydney has to offer. Come, as a fall more in love with the drink that makes this world go round.
